The Award aims to foster cultural growth, promoting a modern culture of sustainability capable of stimulating the development of the Italian industrial fabric.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_primary align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3>Work selection method<\/h3>\n<p>The competition announcement is issued in the web, sent to publishing houses and public and private research institutions. Entrepreneurs, managers and young undergraduates will be actively involved in the process of evaluation and selection of works in the competition, invited to be part of the <strong>&#8220;Readers&#8217; Jury&#8221;.<\/strong> The competition will examine texts of <strong>fiction, non-fiction and biographies, <\/strong>without dwelling on the category to which they belong. The nominated works will compete for the Prize; only one work will be the winner among all entries. The Prize will be awarded to works made public between<strong> January <sup> 1<\/sup> <\/strong>and<strong> January 31, 2024<\/strong> (deadline for official publication of works). Failure to meet the release date or any change in the work between the date of submission and the publication date may be legitimate grounds for exclusion of the work from the final selection.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_primary align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3>Organization of the Prize<\/h3>\n<p>The Innovation Book of the Year Award is curated by the Award Directorate, reporting to ItalyPost. The program and chronology of events, including the date of the final ceremony, are determined by the Directorate year by year. Attendance in the presence of the authors at the Award Ceremony is compulsory, under penalty of exclusion from the final selection of the Award.<br \/>\nThe Committee of Selectors, which selects the finalist works, will make its decision by February 28, 2025, and the Jury of Readers will be asked to vote during the Festival of the Green Economy, held in Parma as part of Green Week, scheduled for <strong>March 28-30, 2025<\/strong>, directed by Ermete Realacci, which will be the occasion for the award ceremony.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_primary align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3>Awards<\/h3>\n<p>The Prize will consist of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Purchase of no. 20 copies for each title in the five finalist list <\/li>\n<li>Purchase of no. additional 50 copies of the winning book <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_primary align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3>Selection bodies<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ce7c;\"><strong>Committee of Selectors<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Committee of Selectors constitutes the Jury of the Prize. The Committee is chaired by <strong>Davide Bollati,<\/strong> president Davines Group, and composed of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Elena Comelli<\/strong>, <em>Corriere della Sera<\/em> journalist<\/li>\n<li><strong>Andrea Condotta<\/strong>, public affairs &amp; innovation manager Gruber Logistics<\/li>\n<li><strong>Martha Friel<\/strong>, professor of Tourism Management, IULM University<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fulvia Bacchi<\/strong>, general manager UNIC Italian Tanneries<\/li>\n<li><strong>Edoardo Vigna<\/strong>, head of Planet 2021, <em>Corriere della Sera<\/em><\/li>\n<li><strong>Isabella Manfredi<\/strong>, Feralpi communications, external relations and CSR director.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ce7c;\"><strong>Technical Committee<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Management of the Prize appoints each year, with a <strong>renewable mandate<\/strong>, a <strong>Technical Committee<\/strong> composed of <strong>5 specialists<\/strong> with the specific task of <strong>determining<\/strong>, in the interpretation of these Rules, <strong>the eligibility <\/strong>of proposed works <strong>for the Prize <\/strong>. The judgment of the Technical Committee is unquestionable. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ce7c;\"><strong>Reader&#8217;s Jury<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Technical Committee appoints a <strong>Jury of Readers<\/strong> composed of <strong>200 members<\/strong> from among entrepreneurs, professors, representatives of trade associations and research institutions, and young undergraduates from faculties relevant to the themes of the Prize, who meet the criterion of geographic distribution and quotas of belonging to a professional and disciplinary field identified by the Committee of Selectors.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_primary align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3>Award Regulations<\/h3>\n<p>Participation in the Prize is free of charge. Texts must be written in the Italian language. By applying for the Prize, the author of the text accepts the irrevocable judgment of the Technical Committee, the Committee of Selectors and the Jury of Readers. In addition to implicit acceptance of these regulations, applying for the Prize implies <strong>participation in the events<\/strong> organized by the Prize and in the closing ceremony.  <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ce7c;\"><strong>Participation requirements<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>All works, whether non-fiction or literature, in print or electronic media, made public between<strong> January <sup> 1<\/sup> <\/strong>and<strong> January 31, 2024<\/strong>, that have the <strong>theme of sustainability<\/strong> at their core, are eligible to apply for the Green Book Award 2024. At the time of submission, publishers or authors wishing to participate in the competition must send, using the appropriate form (at the end of the announcement), the pdf version of the volume and send 5 hard copies of the work with delivery by Feb. 6, 2025 (the date of delivery at the headquarters of the organizing secretariat will be the date of delivery). Copies of the works must be sent free of charge and will not be returned. The nominated works will be reviewed by the Technical Committee, which will select 10 works by February 20, 2025 and submit them to the Selectors&#8217; Committee to choose the five finalists. Publishers or authors who make the shortlist of 10 works will be required to send an additional 20 copies of the finalist volumes, free of charge, to the Prize Management, who will deliver them to each member of the Committee of Selectors, the Prize Promoters, or use them for public relations activities. The Award Management will be responsible for getting the five finalist volumes, in digital format, to the 200 anonymous members of the Jury of Readers, chosen from among entrepreneurs, managers, undergraduate and graduate students identified by the Management.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #00ce7c;\"><strong>Mode of selection<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Each member of the Selectors&#8217; Committee may report by February 1, 2025 to the Award Management from a minimum of three to a maximum of five works that he or she deems worthy of participating in the Award. <strong>By l February 20, 2025 <\/strong>, the Technical Committee will verify the eligibility of all works nominated for the Prize and compile a shortlist of 10 works. The works will then be sent by the Award Management to the Selectors&#8217; Committee. At the time of voting, each member of the Selectors&#8217; Committee, including the Chairperson, will declare by open vote the 5 works, from among the 10 admitted works, that he or she deems worthy of making the shortlist of finalists. The five works that collect the highest number of votes from the Selectors&#8217; Committee will be the finalists. In the event of a tie between two or more works for fifth place, a new round of voting will take place among only the titles competing for fifth place; the work with the highest number of votes will enter the finalist five. The selection of the finalist five will take place<strong> by February 28, 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_primary align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3>Dispatch of applications<\/h3>\n<p>To apply, you must fill out the form available at <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.zohopublic.com\/goodnetsrl\/form\/PremioGreenBook2024Modulodicandidatura\/formperma\/cIIrwcmhN3XGqjifNr-gh-mr8-z1m3omJM0kiods9DM\">this link<\/a> no later than Feb. 15, 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_primary align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3>Award ceremony<\/h3>\n<p>The books selected within the five finalist list will be presented to the public in the days leading up to the award ceremony at the <strong>Festival of the Green Economy<\/strong>, scheduled for <strong>March 28-30, 2025, in Parma, Italy.<\/strong> Except in cases of force majeure, the prizes must be collected personally by the winners, under penalty of automatic exclusion from the final selection of the Prize.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small with_line width_default thick_1 style_solid color_primary align_center\"><div class=\"w-separator-h\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_auto\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_flex valign_top type_default stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-8 wpb_column vc_column_container\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><h3>Green Book 2024 Winner<\/h3>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"w-separator size_small\"><\/div><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><p><strong>Gianluca Lentini<\/strong> with the book  <em>Greenland wasn&#8217;t all green. In order to ensure that all candidates are judged by the same standards, the jurors undertake to ensure objective analysis of the texts, avoiding the possibility that the judging activity may be influenced by subjective impressions or professional conditioning.
